The value of Style

I recently came across an article by the author Maya Angelou giving her thoughts about what she had learnt about style during her journey through life and I thought I would share a few little nuggets of wisdom I found there; 1, “Only buy what looks good on you and enhances your image of you self” It always amazes me how the right outfit can give such a boost, helping us feel and act more confidently. The real you

I first became interested in the connection between personal style and identity during coaching sessions with my clients, I noticed how closely our sense of identity is linked to our own personal style preference. Many of the clients I had worked with had taken on different roles in life, Mother, Wife, Husband, career etc; and had, over time morphed into those roles without realising they had left something behind, the essence of themselves as individuals. Putting the fun back into shopping

I love diverting from the High street and discovering great new bargains in Charity shops. Normally I would advise shopping with focus rather than browsing and randomly and buying....but when it comes to looking for "treasure" I make an exception. I have found some great bargains, most recently finding a brand new Diesel denim skirt for £12. In this particular charity shop I could have bought designer shoes and an Alexander McQueen top (still priced at £50!), which brings me to the subject of location, this shop was in Hampstead so it is worth it if you are out and…
